goodbye da-ge and sha! will miss you!

Once again, sadness overcomes me.
Sudden loss of words and thoughts.
You turned around one last time,
A hug and you had to leave.

Everyone who passed the gates
Were all happy and excited.
And through the clear glass walls,
They left the farewell bades.

Though everyone on the other side
Were all smiling and waving goodbyes.
They masked their worries and sadness
Wishing their loved ones to have a great flight.

As the pple turned around for the last goodbyes,
We know it's time to let them go.
With forced smiles on our faces
But tears welling up our eyes.

As I penned this, the rain started to pour.
Said a little prayer to God coz He knows it all.
To wish them safety and a blessed journey,
With this I teared my way home.

But I know I have to be strong and put myself together.
Why it's only a short trip lasting a week long.
Wiping the tears away quickly, i took a big long breathe.
And the journey home continues. Solitarily.
