mummy's back..

My mum came back from her Easter Europe trip. She bought loads of stuff back, mostly food, glasses/mugs/mini cups. Clothes? Haha. Ya, she got me loads of violin-related stuff - like t-shirts with violins on it, miniatured violins for display, cds of orchestras playing Mozart pieces. Ok, I am thankful for that. But I told her jokingly, "Mum, you should just get me a real playable violin." And she's like, "Get for you for what? You don't even know how to play." Arghz. Fine.. I can't play.. Whatever.

She has also gotten me this wooden international chess set. I'm like, "Cool dude!" Finally something which I can play with. But then again, the irony is, no one else in the family knows how to! Crappified. My mum was like,
"I thought everyone knows how to play it?"
"Har.. We all know how to play Chinese chess. Only I know how to play international chess."
"I thought Grandpa taught you how to play it?"
"No.. I'm so smart I learnt it myself. Hahaha.."
"..." (-_-")

Guess I'll have to play it on my own. Sad..
